4Patriots Donates Food to Salvation Army of Cedar Rapids
Just wanted to keep you up to speed with a recent donation that 4Patriots has made to people in need.
Following flooding that forced the evacuation of 10,000 people from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and caused damage to homes and businesses, we donated a three-month supply of our Food4Patriots survival food to The Salvation Army of Cedar Rapids. They will distribute it to people in need in that area.
As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t inform you about these donations to pat ourselves on the back. Our goal is to keep the emphasis on the need and the recipients, not on us. Our hearts go out to the people who have been negatively affected by these disasters and we want to help because we’re in a position to do so.
The real purpose for bringing these donations to your attention is to let you know that your purchases of our products are what make these contributions possible. We literally could not do it without you!
Other recent donations of our Food4Patriots survival food kits have gone to Mountain Mission Inc.’s Food Relief Donation Center following flooding in West Virginia that took the lives of 20 people and destroyed approximately 1,200 homes, as well as to the Community Action Partnership of Kern Food Bank after wildfires burned more than 30,000 acres of land in California, taking two lives and destroying more than 100 structures, including homes.
Scarey stuff
Frank, it’s great that you donated your food for the folks in Iowa. Here is a solution I hope that you will take to heart: when you feel the need to donate how about letting us your readers in on it and allow us to donate along with you. Personally, I wouldn’t mind throwing a few bucks your way to add to your donation. I know that Food4Patroits doesn’t come cheap; but with mine and others that donate their money to purchase more food for those that don’t have any will be greater and go further than you doing it alone. what do you think? Are you in? I hope so. Please let me know. Cliff A.
Happy to see you gave to Salvation Army. They are good stewards. We have seen them work from the inside. We stay away from the one agency that advertises but don’t produce. MY DAD witnessed this in WW11.!
