When H2O isn’t safe, what is?
How messed up are things getting in this country? Well, our aging electrical grid is crashing every time a storm rolls through, especially in the Northeast. The West and Southwest are running out of clean drinking water. Food prices are eating up a bigger percentage of our home budgets every month. And don’t even get me started on politics.
So, what else could possibly go wrong? How about this? In Louisiana, they’ve discovered an amoeba in the water supply that can actually eat people’s brains. I couldn’t make this stuff up if I tried.
This amoeba they found in the state’s water system can kill you if it travels through your nose to your brain. Now, some people may think, “Who drinks water that way?” Hopefully no one, but when children, teenagers and adults are swimming in infected water, something like that could happen very easily.
In fact, you don’t even have to go into a body of water to get attacked by this killer. A 4-year-old boy in Louisiana recently died from the amoeba after playing on a slip-n-slide. Tests showed that the amoeba was in the hose that was used for the slide.
They say the water is safe to drink, but if I lived there, I’d be saying, “Uh, no thanks.” If you want to start up a new business in Louisiana, nose plugs might be the thing to sell.
The water crisis in Louisiana is just the latest in a never-ending series of problems in this country that proves you’re doing the right thing by being prepared. And it makes me wonder why more people don’t feel the same way.
Let me know if you’ve ever had to deal with contaminated water in your area, and what you’ve done to try to make it safe.
I recently read a few reports on coconut oil has a bunch of benefits, tooth ache or abscess swish for 10-20 min pain infection go away, good for circulation, cholesterol just a few.
Can someone please give me a straight forward answer. I’ve read many articles and comments and gotten nowhere but confused. I’ve purchased water bricks for storage, and filled them with commercial distilled water. My question is when to treat it, with what, and how much per gallon. Please, can someone break it down for me.
Buying distilled water and storing it in water bricks is a step in the right direction, but you need to convert it from harmful “dead” water to healthy mineralized water that will stay safe for ever when stored as you are doing. A Certified Human clinical trial showed that drinking this treated water actually hydrated cells at 32% compared to 1 1/2 to 3% cellular hydration from drinking bottled water. E-mail me at [email protected] and I will be glad to send you the lab report.
I have several Sawyer water filters for emergencies, and at home use a Pur filter in faucet ( west TN). Any comments- good, bad or ugly ?
I make colloidal silver water at homeand from what I
read about it you can drink a small dose of it daily. is
there something else I should know ? carl
Thank you Frank for sending me the info on Alexa pure pro Gravity filter. I now have water independence. I can now go to any water and filter all contaminants. The other readers should get one if they want good clean water. Thank you Frank :)
water unsafe to drink is poison. It must be purified. I vote for a good filter. The FDA, which should be staffed by scientists ONLY, is poisoning us. Shakespeare is right “first kill all the lawyers.” Well in the FDA for sure and most lobbyists and the ACLU would solve a ton of problems.
I agree completely.
Get rid of the goat jhumpers.
Intentionally destroying America and Freedom for all.
Colloidal silver is best antibiotic/antiviral. Military tests found it is one thing that kills everything infection-wise. Smart Silver is expensive but has no side effects. Colloidal silver can be made at home and while can’t be used for long periods, it is effective for acute infections without antibiotic toxicity.
These parasites are mostly found in a warm temperature lakes in the southern states. When they get infected, they’re in big trouble.
Well, that is true. These parasites are found MOSTLY in WARM Temperature waters. But if you haven’t noticed lately just last year alone this country had 90% heat wave from California to Main. As far down South as Florida to as far north as the Great Lake in Michigan.
All it takes is someone or something to transport this little critter or perhaps a flesh eating bacteria to a new location and then it will have found a new home with plenty of victims to pick from.
All that can be said is be careful and check out the source before jumping in, well over your head.
Frank……I am stocking up on baking soda. I recently learned about baking soda and ever since then I have been faithfully stocking up every month (I usually buy 3 very LARGE bags of arm & hammer!) not only do’s it purify your family’s water but you can also use it for brushing your teeth a nice little added bonus!
IT DOES NOT TAKE OUT GERADIA, OR THE REAL BAD BACERIA! USE BLEACH. DON’T BE STUPID. IF YOUR HOARDING IT FOE BARDER, YOUR IN FOR A BIG DISAPPOMENT.
Dear Frank,
We all know water is the very essence of life itself! Water is number one on the list of survival topics; WATER, SHELTER, FIRE, FOOD, and SECURITY We should therefore care for it like GOLD!
As you know, our family lives is a small town (650 pop) in the Great Plains of Eastern Colorado. Unfortunately, we are down stream from metro Denver on the South Platte and no around here one would dare drink the river water without at least boiling it first!!!
Funny thing is, all our local reservoirs are filled by the river, but people fish, boat, ski and swim in them, even after they turn to green pea soup with alga in mid summer.
Our village water supply comes from deep wells close to the S.P and almost glows in the dark from radioactivity. It tastes like crap due to alkali if you drink it strait from the tap.
We invested a high quality reverse osmosis system in our house, which solves our problems and we have our water tested twice a year, just in case!
During the big Colorado flood of 2013 all wells and city water supplies from Denver east to the Kansas line were contaminated with all sorts of nasty critters and swimmy things and it took millions of dollars and months to make it safe again!
We used ZERO filter pitchers and our “Life Straw’s” from our BOB’s until the water tested safe.
It is just plain frightening when the water supply goes bad!

This is a must have for any survival kit. It’s called PROPOLIS. its a resin extract from bees. Available at any health food store or online. It’s antimicrobial properties are unmatched imho. A toothache will do you in really quickly and if you’re in survival mode (or anywhere!) and either can’t afford a dentist or can’t get to one, this is the stuff. Put a drop or two on the infected tooth and if it stings, (and it really does but not for long. And it tastes pretty bad too) it’s making contact and it’s working. No sting, no contact- it’s not working. It is fantastic for infected hangnails too. this is all I’ve ever used it for but I swear by it. It will do in 1 night what it takes 1 or 2 weeks of antibiotics to clear up. I recommend it to everyone I know who has a toothache and they have ALWAYS reported success. And because it’s a resin, it will coat and seal a hole in the tooth. It will wear off of the tooth surface (with brushing) but just reapply as needed. It fills in a hole and stays for a long time. It’s cheap, 10 bucks or so. A bottle will last forever so get 2. In case something happens to 1. Once you discover the beauty of this stuff, you will ever go anywhere without it. I don’t.
IT’S THE SAME AS BEE POLLEN. HAS THE SAME STUFF, BUT CHEAPER AND TASTE GOOD. TOOTH ACH. USE A FRESH TEA BAG ON THE TOOTH. THEN AFTER AN HOUR, RINSE WITH SALT WATER HOT!!
Bee pollen and propolis are two different things. Bee pollen is from the flower, propolis is the sap from pine trees. Bees use it as an adhesive. When you want to lift out a frame of honey, you have to pry it from the hive, due to the presence of the propolis. Then you have to scrape it from the frame before you put it back in. The pollen is usually stored in the brood box, and is used as food for the young bees. So, bee pollen and propolis are very different.
Can potassium iodide be used to purify water? I know it’s uses for radiation. Thank you
I can’t find any sources that indicate that it’s got antimicrobial properties in water. I’m going to go with no.
George, in a pinch Iodine, the stuff you use to treat minor cuts and abrasions, can be used for water purification. The reason it isn’t used much is because it is an expensive item to use to purify water when you have other and cheaper means to purify your water.Remember, just because you use something to purify your water like bleach and iodine you must wait until the chemicals do their jobs. Usually it takes anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours to purify water. Depending what you use to purify water and how much water you need to purify. So check your facts before you start.
Let me start with the fact that I had a secret government clearance for 44 years while I was in the AF and worked in aerospace, so I was use to it. But now the government ts controlled by mostly by liberal tick turds that want destroy the American way of life, our constitution and true freedom. Its is our own fault. Too many of us want somebody else to do it for us. I’m a constitutional conservative/patriot. I believe the good ole USA was created by God to do exactly what we have been doing for over two hundred years. next to the Bible, the constitution is the only other document written by man under the influence of GOD, lets keep it that way. So be a patriot, vote people like Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosie, and all other liberal thinking bureaucrats out of politics. then we will be free of unscrupulous spy tactics.

You bet your ass Joe!! Let’s get big brother out of our personal business.
