U.S. Is World’s No. 1 Cyberattack Victim

We hear a lot about cyberattacks in the news these days.

We hear warnings from security experts across multiple fields. Reporting that cyberattacks are very real and occurring every day.

They also emphasize that the U.S. electrical power grid is incredibly vulnerable. Especially because much of our infrastructure is controlled by private companies. Who are not incentivized to make cyber defense a priority.

So I have a really important question for you. Have you ever stopped to think about what it would mean if a cyberattack was aimed at the electrical grid in your city?

These Are Strikes, Not Threats

Friends, these are not just idle threats. In fact, they are not threats at all. They are actual strikes against our grid. And the U.S. gets hit with cyberattacks every single day.

According to the Center for Strategic & International Studies, Russia and China conduct the most cyber strikes. Followed by Iran and North Korea.

And which country do you suppose is the world’s No. 1 victim of cyber espionage, cyber warfare and cyber crime?

You guessed it – the United States. By far. The U.S. has been targeted with “significant cyber incidents” more than three times as often as any other country.

In a recent report by Positive Technologies, they say that cyberattacks have risen a staggering 32 percent since this time last year. And even more so on federal, state and local governments.

One Attack Could Bring ‘A Whole Country to a Standstill’

According to Business Insider, a successful cyberattack on infrastructure could do as much damage as a natural disaster. Bringing a whole country to a standstill.

And the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI recently confirmed that Russia has managed to infiltrate critical U.S. infrastructure, including our power grid and nuclear facilities.

Dan Coats, director of National Intelligence, also warns of a devastating attack that will target critical U.S. infrastructure.

Coats says the U.S. is being targeted by DAILY cyber strikes. Launched by Russia, China, Iran and North Korea.

Threat Has Warning Lights Blinking Red Again

This news is scary enough on its own. We all know a successful cyberattack against our electrical grid would be catastrophic.

But what’s much more nerve wracking about this situation is the frightening comparison that Coats asserts.

He warns that the possibility of a crippling cyberattack on our critical infrastructure by a foreign actor is “growing.”

And get this. He’s comparing the cyberattacks to the “alarming activities” that U.S. intelligence agencies detected before 9/11.

Coats said, “The system was blinking red. Here we are nearly two decades later. I’m here to say the warning lights are blinking red again.”

Other Security Experts Agree; This Is Our Greatest Threat

Coats is not the only expert making these types of comments. When people trusted with the nation’s most sensitive secrets are asked which global threats worry them most, they repeatedly say the risk of a crippling cyberattack.

Former Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said recently that the U.S. is in “crisis mode.” She compared the danger of a massive cyberattack to a Category 5 hurricane looming on the horizon.

Former CIA Director Leon Panetta says the biggest threat is “a cyberattack that could paralyze the nation.”

Another former Homeland Security Secretary, Michael Chertoff, added, “Cyberattacks on critical infrastructure from state or state-sponsored actors are the biggest threat right now.”

‘Death Toll Would Be Staggering’

A well-executed cyberattack could knock out the electrical grid and shut off power to a huge swath of the country. Not to mention compromising vital government or financial data. That would leave us unsure what is real and what isn’t.

The vast numbers of Internet-connected devices, from cars to pacemakers, means the risks are growing by the day.

Our enemies could cripple our great country in a matter of minutes. Without firing a single bullet. They could just sit back and watch as we self-destruct through looting, rioting and the targeting of police officers.

“Our death toll would be staggering,” reports FOX News. We’re all fine when the power goes out for a few hours and even days. But an extended blackout would be devastating.

Frank Gaffney is founder of the Center for Security Policy. Here’s what he predicts. “Should the power go out and stay out for over a year, 9 out of 10 Americans would likely perish.”

There’s One Thing You Can Do

Friends, you and I are not capable of stopping cyberattacks from Russia, China, Iran or North Korea. We hope and pray that our government is.

But there is one thing you can do to help protect your family.

More and more Americans are taking matters into their own hands and are securing their own solar powered generator.

Solar generators are a smart choice because they create an endless supply of life-saving electricity when you need it most – without gas, fumes or noise.

You can use it to run kitchen appliances. Power your personal or medical devices. Or light up a room with an LED light string… for weeks at a time.

And if you haven’t had a look yet, we’re running a July 4th Special right now on our newest and most powerful solar generator to date.

Along with over $895 in FREE bonuses, including a “smart food storage” device you can’t even get anywhere else yet.

Plus, it’s all available on an easy monthly payment plan.

But please know, this special expires on July 2nd Midnight Pacific Time.
