Russia Developing Hypersonic Weapon That Can Travel One Mile Per Second

Just think about the places you would visit and the people you could meet if you were able to travel at one mile per second.

You could reach just about any city in America in less than an hour. No matter where you live. You could even fly to Paris in less than two hours.

That type of futuristic speed sounds wonderful when we’re discussing travel. But it takes on a very ominous tone when it comes to something that really does move that quickly.

I’m talking about a new hypersonic weapon that Russia claims it will be able to deploy. Not in 5 or 10 years, but “in the coming months.”

Putin Calls His Arsenal ‘Invincible’

Russian President Vladimir Putin says this missile will travel at least five times the speed of sound. In other words, about one mile per second.

If a missile such as this were fired from Moscow, it could reach New York City in less than 80 minutes.

Putin bragged that his hypersonic weapons program is well ahead of programs the U.S. and China have established.

He’s now referring to his nation’s growing hypersonic arsenal as “invincible.” The arsenal also includes nuclear-powered cruise missiles and underwater drones.

Russia Targets the West

Putin has made it clear who the targets of his arsenal would be if the situation heats up more and war is declared.

“I want to tell all those who have fueled the arms race over the last 15 years. (And) introduced unlawful sanctions aimed to contain our country’s development. You have failed to contain Russia.”

Putin has also said Russia would only use nuclear weapons in response to an attack by another country.

But can he be counted on to tell the truth? I mean, just about anything could be considered an “attack” these days. Including cyber attacks. Worst of all, the U.S. is currently unable to defend against a hypersonic missile.

Trump Cancels Putin Meeting

This brings up the topic of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty. It was signed by Russia and the U.S. in 1987.

The U.S. believes Russia has violated the treaty. President Donald Trump thinks it’s time to end the treaty for that reason. And also because the treaty is outdated. And has stood in the way of the U.S. developing new weapons.

Putin said if the U.S. withdraws from the treaty, it will destabilize Europe. And prompt Russia to “respond in kind.”

Tensions between the two countries increased even more last week. In fact, Trump cancelled a sit-down talk with Putin. That was in response to a naval clash in which Russia seized several Ukrainian ships.

Is the Cold War Returning?

Friends, this is NOT what the world needs right now. Leaders of the two nations that have the largest nuclear arsenals in the world – by far – are at odds with each other.

Nobody wants to return to a Cold War era when Americans were building bomb shelters and having trouble sleeping at night. Unfortunately, things seem to be approaching that point.

And Russia is not only focused on increasing its offensive capabilities. Putin is also preparing for the possibility that the U.S. may attack.

Either as a first strike or as a response to a Russian attack.

Russia Strengthening Defense, Too

Last week the Interfax news agency reported that Russia was planning to build a new missile early-warning radar station in Crimea.

The station would be able to track ballistic and cruise missiles from a long distance. The location would be near where Russia’s Black Sea fleet is based.

This new battalion of S-400 surface-to-air missiles system is an anti-aircraft system. It’s said it can hit targets up to nearly 250 miles away.

That’s according to an announcement from the Russian Ministry of Defense. In other words, they’re not trying to hide this fact. They want to publicize it.

Remember the Recent War Games?

All this military buildup comes on the heels of the show of force Russia and other countries engaged in back in August.

If you recall, Russia conducted military drills along with other nuclear powers. Such as China, Pakistan and India.

Approximately 3,000 troops participated in the drills. The event was called “Peace Mission 2018.”

One month later, Russia, China and Mongolia participated in Vostok-2018. These “war games” included 300,000 troops and 1,000 aircraft.

What Can You Do To Protect Your Family Today?

The message is clear. Russia is warning the West. If we mess with them with stricter sanctions or military maneuvers, they’re ready for all-out nuclear war.

You need to be ready to protect yourself and family members in a hurry. And one of the easiest things you can do today is to add Potassium Iodide tablets (KI caps) to your stockpile.

Why?

You have to start taking Potassium Iodide immediately if there’s a radiation emergency.

Even if your local hospital or FEMA office has a small stash, you can’t get there in time for the handouts.

Not to mention… you’d be fighting the crowds.

That’s why you need to have it on hand before a disaster strikes. And you also need to make sure you have the right kind.

For a limited time, we’re giving you a way to get this peace of mind for free. (All we ask is that you help cover the shipping.)

This is no knockoff or substitute solution. I’m giving you a FREE supply of the genuine article, iOSAT tablets – the only full-strength FDA approved protection available.
