As I write these words, Barack Obama has less than one month before he must move out of the White House. One word quickly comes to mind as I think about this fact: “Hallelujah.”
I don’t have time to list all the reasons for my joy, and besides, you already know what they are and probably share a vast majority of them.
But one I’ll mention is that for at least the next four years, we won’t have a leader trying to shove his climate change agenda down our throats. And people won’t lose their jobs because they don’t see eye to eye with his legions of liberals on this subject.
Recently a congressional investigation determined that the Obama Administration fired a top scientist at the U.S. Department of Energy – and intimidated other department staff members – in order to advance its climate change agenda. They also plotted ways to block a congressional inquiry surrounding key research into the impact of radiation and censored information given to Congress.
Sounds like something a dictator would do, right?
Yet this only scratches the surface of this man’s unethical behavior while occupying the White House. And it all comes down to the same thing: he has always considered himself above the law.
Of course, he’ll get away with it, as he does everything else. But there are two things he can’t change. The woman he so vigorously campaigned for during the 2016 presidential election lost, and the liberal Justice he hoped she would add to the Supreme Court will not sit on that Court.
So let’s at least take some pleasure in that.
