The terrorist group known as ISIS can’t be too happy with America these days. In addition to bombing them and their equipment in Iraq and saving innocent, stranded people that they were so looking forward to killing, we’ve now announced that we’re going to seek them out in Syria and bomb them there, too.
Maybe they thought that President Obama would never have the guts to do something like this. But with Republicans, Democrats and Independents – and probably the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts – hounding him to step up to the plate and protect American interests and innocent civilians with military attacks, he finally agreed to do it.
Once again, the leader of the most powerful nation in the world leads from behind. What a disgrace! But that’s what we’ve got with this guy in control, so we have to live with it until 2017 when a new president moves into the White House.
In the meantime, it’s rumored that an ISIS strategy is to sneak people (if you can call these monsters “people”) into the United States, where they can commit terrorist acts. Now, under normal circumstances, a country that is hated as much as America would protect its borders and only allow in people with legitimate passports.
But we have a government that thinks it’s a great idea to let in an endless stream of people whom we know nothing about, including their reasons for entering the country. And we have a president who is planning to grant full amnesty to illegal aliens as soon as he thinks it won’t hurt other Democrats at the polls. Somebody please wake me up from this nightmare.
Recently, a Texas law enforcement bulletin stated: “A review of ISIS social media messaging…shows that militants are expressing an increased interest in the notion that they could clandestinely infiltrate the southwest border of U.S., for terror attack.”
The Department of Homeland Security says that it is unaware of any credible threats from ISIS, but the watchdog group Judicial Watch said that Islamic State operatives are in Juarez, Mexico, and are planning to attack the U.S. with car bombs.
On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being none and 10 being everything possible, how much effort do you think the Obama Administration has put into protecting our borders?
