Iran Threatens “Mother of All Wars;” Trump Threatens Severe “Consequences”… War Drums Are Beating

It’s always nice when one of the world’s hot spots cools down for a bit. You can usually breathe a momentary sigh of relief.

But, it isn’t too long until a different world hot spot heats up. That’s what we’re seeing with North Korea and Iran.

The summit between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un didn’t permanently resolve any issues. But at least the war rhetoric from both sides calmed down somewhat.

However, the war of words between Iran and the U.S. is intensifying. And suddenly we’re on edge again… wondering if a nuclear war is in our future.

Trump Calls Iran Nuke Deal ‘Insane’

Last week Iranian President Hassan Rouhani told Trump that hostile policies toward Tehran could lead to “the mother of all wars.”

Trump fired back with comments and criticisms about Iran’s nuclear ambitions and support of militant groups.

The Iranian government is still upset at Trump. Mainly due to his decision to withdraw the U.S. from a 2015 agreement over Iran’s nuclear program.

That deal was signed by former President Barack Obama and other world leaders. Trump has called it “insane,” “ridiculous” and “defective at its core.”

‘Don’t Play With the Lion’s Tail’

Not surprisingly, Iran loves the deal. They don’t want to see anything or anyone kill it.

Talking to Iranian diplomats, Rouhani said, “Mr. Trump, don’t play with the lion’s tail. This would only lead to regret.”

Rouhani is not pleased with Trump’s threat to end Iranian oil exports. He knows his country’s strategic position in the Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz would be negatively affected by that move.

“America should know that peace with Iran is the mother of all peace, and war with Iran is the mother of all wars,” he added.

‘Never, Ever Threaten the United States’

We’ve learned Trump does not respond well to threats. Especially when they involve an agreement he calls “decaying and rotten.”

“Never, ever threaten the United States again or you will suffer consequences the likes of which few throughout history have ever suffered before,” he responded.

“We are no longer a country that will stand for your demented words of violence and death. Be cautious!”

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has referred to Iran’s leaders as a “mafia,” and hinted that Iranian citizens who are unhappy with their government will have America’s backing.

Saber Rattling or Legitimate Threats?

Is this just saber rattling or are we on the verge of a nuclear war that would change the world forever?

Some people believe that no “major power” would start a nuclear war because they know the damage would be so great that neither side would come out on top.

But I don’t think we can assume the same holds true for radical governments and unhinged leaders. Iran and North Korea, to name two.

Sanctions Are the Key

For Iran, it’s all about sanctions. When sanctions against Iran are in full force, their economy suffers. And that causes the government to lose support from some of its citizens.

The deal provided Iran with relief from those sanctions. At least so long as the country stopped pursuing nuclear weapons.

Can Iran’s leaders be trusted to halt nuclear ambitions? Trump and many others don’t think so.

If sanctions cripple the Iranian economy, the people could revolt. And if the current leaders believe their regime could toppled, they may decide to use every weapon at their disposal to fight the U.S.

Trump Wants Tougher Deal

Trump is not opposed to a deal with Iran that would involve halting nuclear aspirations.

He just wants it to include a lot more “meat.” He wants Iran to withdraw from Syria and end its support of Yemen and international terrorists.

One of the ways Trump wants to help keep Iran down is with the creation of a new security and political alliance in the Middle East. It would involve partnerships with Egypt, Jordan and several Gulf Arab states.

Those state partnerships might push Iran to cooperate.

Either that or Iran could decide to launch the “mother of all wars.” Stay tuned.

Simple Tablet Shields Against Radioactive Risk from Nuclear Fallout

In the meantime though, it’s important to stop and think about what this type of catastrophic event would mean for you and your family.

Radioactive iodine is responsible for 90 to 95% of all health-related crises after a nuclear catastrophe.

But if you have Potassium Iodide tablets on hand when radiation exposure threatens, you can prevent your body from absorbing the radioactive iodine, and therefore prevent those health problems.

The concept is surprisingly simple. And proven to work.

It’s Up to You to Protect Your Family

The U.S. is the only major nuclear power in the world without a sufficient national Potassium Iodide stockpile.

Even if your local hospital or FEMA office has a small stash, you can’t get there in time for the handouts.
Not to mention… you’d be fighting the crowds.

That’s why you need to have it on hand before a disaster strikes. And you also need to make sure you have the right kind.

For a short time, we’re able to give you this peace of mind for free. (All we ask is that you help cover shipping.)

This is no knockoff or substitute solution. It’s a 14-day supply of the genuine article, iOSAT tablets – the only full-strength FDA approved protection available.
