If there’s one thing I’ve learned in life, it’s that actions speak louder than words. I talk a lot about doing the right thing – making sure you are prepared for a very uncertain future, treating people the way you want to be treated, etc. – so I need to step up and help hurting people when it’s within my power to do so.
That’s why we at 4Patriots have recently donated eight of our Alexapure Pro water filtration products to daycare centers in Flint, Michigan, where people have been drinking lead-tainted water. And we’ve already identified more than a dozen more deserving childcare and veterans facilities that will receive Alexapure Pro systems next month.
As a father, it puts a lump in my throat and just about brings me to tears to think about the long-term negative effects those children will have to suffer. As an American, it gets me hopping mad.
Lead is a neurotoxin, a poison and a very dangerous problem, especially for children. According to the World Health Organization, years later it can result in learning disabilities, shortening of attention spans and anti-social behavior. It’s essential that everything possible be done to rid Flint water of this dangerous contaminant, and we at 4Patriots want to be part of the solution.
In case you don’t know, the Alexapure Pro is a tabletop purification product capable of transforming contaminated water from virtually any source into clean, safe, delicious water. Users can access up to 5,000 gallons of fresh, clean water from it before the filter needs to be replaced. No gas, electricity or water pressure is needed to operate the Alexapure Pro. It removes contaminants using only gravity.
The boxes containing the Alexapure Pro that the Flint daycare centers are receiving say “4Patriots” on them. But if you think about it, these donations really come from you. Your purchases of our products are what allow us to make donations to various organizations. They include Operation Homefront, which provides emergency assistance for U.S. military troops and their families, and A Soldier’s Child Foundation, which supports the children of fallen servicemen and women.
We also frequently donate emergency food to extreme weather victims. Over the past year and a half, they have included flooding victims in the Houston area through the Houston Food Bank; victims of tornadoes in Arkansas through the Arkansas Rice Depot; blizzard victims in Massachusetts through the Worcester Food Bank; and people struggling to put food on the table during the holidays through the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.
I’m not telling you this to pat ourselves on the back. We’re only doing what you allow us to do through your purchases. Thanks for being part of the 4Patriots family. The people we are able to help thank you as well.
